It works in double hung windows or sliding windows only and should be set on a level, smooth floor that is firm enough to support its weight for low vibration and noise during use. For best results, close all windows and doors when the air conditioner is running, attach the included hoses to make sure it works correctly, and note the 3 minutes delay that follows microprocessor control setting changes before the compressor begins air circulation.
